At A+ Schools, we value the insight that data analysis can provide for a school or a system, and we look to research that highlights local and national best practices to address systemic barriers to equity in order for all schools to achieve the greatest successes for every student. Our core purpose and focus of our work is to remove any barriers to equity in our schools.


Through our annual Report to the Community on Public School Progress, our series of research briefs called Equity Impact Reports, and our consistent oversight of the Pittsburgh Board of Education, we aim to provide data- and research-backed information for our city’s families, regional organizations, and community leaders.
