The A to Z Fund: Real-time supports for students, families, and school staff
Kids who come to school with less need more. Increased student needs often create strain on existing resources at schools where staffs spend more time addressing basic needs. The A to Z Fund provides real-time supports for those who need it, when they need it.
A+ Schools utilizes the A to Z Fund to provide funding to our partner schools for items such as family events, sports equipment, grade-level celebrations, winter clothes, snacks, classroom supplies and more.
Circle Our Schools: Partnerships that drive attendance outcomes
A+ schools engages foundations, local companies, school alumni and individual donors to provide wrap around resources directly to schools, school staff and students at the strategic and programmatic level to improve attendance.
Circle Our Schools provides direct resources for critical supports including: Tutoring -- Literacy -- Transportation -- Health & mental health supports -- Family engagement -- Space improvements -- Student enrichment opportunities -- and School safety initiatives.
General Operating Support: Supporting day-to-day operations that keep our organization running
Our staff is dedicated to ending chronic absenteeism in Pittsburgh's public schools. Our day-to-day operations include strategic planning time to ensure we are maximizing our partnerships in direct support of the students, families, and schools in our city.
